We are currently looking for an Orthodontic Assistant to join our amazing team.
This position will be 3-4 days per week Monday-Friday. (No weekends.) There will be some travel to other locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the orthodontist during a variety of treatment procedures.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
- Take and develop x-rays as directed by the orthodontist.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with the dental team to improve patient flow and the overall patient experience.
Qualifications:
- No prior orthodontic or dental experience is required. We are happy to train the right candidate who is motivated, dependable, and eager to learn.
- Comfortable working hands-on with patients
- Team-oriented mindset
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to follow detailed clinical instructions
- Calm and reassuring with children and teens
- Willingness to learn new technology and techniques
